Small plane collides with helicopter in US, 3 killed

  • A small aircraft collided with a helicopter at a local airport in Frederick, Maryland, killing three people and injuring two, media reports said.

    When emergency crew reached the site, they “found two crash scenes”, the police said.

    Two people on the plane were taken to Meredith Medical Center. All three people found in the wreckage of the helicopter were declared dead.   

    The Federal Aviation Administration said that plane was a Cirrus SR 22 while the helicopter was an R44.
