Singapore Airlines Orders New Airbus A350-900 Jets to Reclaim World Record of Longest Flight
April 29 , 2018
Singapore Airlines is all set to reclaim the world record of longest flight as they’ve decided to unveil their new A350-900 Ultra Long-Range jet by the end of 2018. Reports say the new A350-900 ULR jets will be cheaper to operate and at the same time will be more fuel efficient for ultra-long flights. When compared with the standard A350 flights, the upcoming A350-900 ULR flights will be able to fly 1,800 miles more. These new jets will reportedly be able to fly up to 11,160 miles. First test flight of A350-900 ULR has been completed earlier this week at the headquarters of Airbus in France’s Toulouse.
