Russians rally to mark 'coup' anniversary
February 21 , 2015
Russians are holding rallies in Moscow and other cities to mark one year of what they regard as a “coup” in Ukraine.
The event is being promoted by the state media in Russia.
Protests in the Ukrainian capital Kiev had led to the ouster of Viktor Yanukovych, the pro-Russia president, last year.
Meanwhile, despite the ceasefire, shelling could be heard on Saturday in the rebel-controlled city of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine.
The conflict in Ukraine has killed more than 5,500 people, according to conservative estimates.
