Russia, Argentina sign framework deals to boost energy and economic ties

Russia and Argentina have agreed on a number of framework deals that will boost their energy and economic cooperation.
Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, the Argentine president, and her Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin hailed it as the “comprehensive” strategic partnership, after talks in Moscow.
Russia will invest in a nuclear power plant and a hydroelectric plant in Argentina as part of the agreements, reports said. The deals also include a memorandum on defense cooperation.
