Pussy Riot to form new group after release

  • It appears as if Pussy Riot members only get inspired to do more after being imprisoned. They are not the biggest fans of Russian president Vladimir Putin and reports suggest that members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina now plan on focusing on a human rights group called "Zona Prava (justice zone)" and fight for prison reform.

"We are not Pussy Riot now," Tolokonnikova said. She mentioned that the group won't raise money by touring this time.

Moreover, the two members hope that Mikhail Khodorkovsky will contribute as well.

"In the penal colonies, there are people who are on the brink of life and death," Alyokhina said. "We'd like to do what we said in our last action - we'd like him (Putin) to go away." Both Alyokhina and Tolokonnikova mentioned that if anyone should replace Putin, it should be Khodorkovsky.
