Protests Mar Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to Chinese Rule

As per news updates, on anniversary of Hong Kong's return to Chinese rule, a large number of protestors were witnessed smashing through glass doors. Later, these people stormed the headquarters of government at Legislative Council building. The dramatic events that took place on July 1, 2019 led to break from the peaceful demonstrations against the controversial extradition bill. To stabilize the situation, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam criticized violence during the early hours of Tuesday. Moreover, in press conference she pledged in front of the international and national media channels that she will surely take some legal action to control the situation.
