Prince Charles 'alarmed' over radicalization of youth
February 8 , 2015
Britain’s Prince Charles has expressed alarm at the radicalization of young people, describing it as one of the “greatest worries”.
In an interview to BBC Radio, he said he hoped to build bridges between faiths.
The Prince of Wales, who is touring the Middle East, also expressed concern at the problems faced by Christians in the region.
He said it was “frightening” that some British youngsters could get “so radicalized either through contact with somebody else or through the internet”, a reference to young Britons joining extremist groups like the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq.
