Police target Venezuela militia, five killed

A confrontation between the police and members of a pro-government militia in Venezuela has left five people dead, according to media reports.
The violence began after a special forces police unit raided the Shield of the Revolution colectivo headquarters in Caracas. This led to an eight-hour gun-battle and three policemen were made captive.
In dramatic moments, a prominent militia leader, José Odreman, told the media before he was shot dead that Justice Minister, Miguel Rodríguez Torres ,should be held responsible if anything happened to him.
