Pentagon spends a fortune on studying Putin's body language
March 9 , 2014
You could either stare into Vladimir Putin's eyes or spend tons of money to study his body language.
Defense officials mentioned that the Pentagon carried out two studies and spent about $300k in order to study body movements of several world figures including Putin.
The project is known as "Body Leads" and Pentagon itself thinks that the concept is strange since the studies haven't "informed any policy decisions of the Department of Defense." However, researchers said the postures could help "investigators to learn more about a person's thinking processes and relative truthfulness when matched with what the person says."
