April 13 , 2020
On Sunday, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan appealed the global community to initiate debt relief to economically developing countries that are fighting the novel Coronavirus through a video message, after Pakistan reported nearly 450 positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the country's total to 5,230. He further said that countries which are under financial obligations are facing "lack of fiscal space" that is putting hindrance in their efforts to prevent the COVID-19 from spreading and provide sufficient relief. Besides, a global pandemic cannot be suppressed without any well-crafted and robust global response.
