No differentiating between good and bad Taliban, says Nawaz Sharif
December 18 , 2014
Vowing to take the fight to the perpetrators of the Peshawar school massacre, Pakistan’s prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that there will no longer be any “differentiation between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ Taliban”.
At least 148 people, most of them students, were killed in the attack by the Pakistani Taliban on the army-run school that has horrified the nation.
Sharif has also announced the lifting of a moratorium on the death penalty in terrorism-linked cases. He said the country was determined to fight against terrorism “till the last terrorist is eliminated”.
