Nigerian presidential poll: Voting continues after technical glitches cause delay
March 29 , 2015
Voting will continue in Nigeria after technical glitches during polling on Saturday led to delays.
Voting was postponed by the electoral commission following reports of problems with the newly introduced electronic card readers. Around 300 polling units were affected because of the technical problems.
Meanwhile, at least 20 people have been killed in gun attacks in Nigeria.
President Goodluck Jonathan is being challenged by Muhammadu Buhari in the poll. Earlier, the presidential polls were delayed because of the threat by the militant group Boko Haram.
