    Operations at New York’s John F Kennedy Airport Terminals were suspended after reports said shots were fired at Terminal 8 (near departure area) at around 9.30pm on Sunday. For precautionary measures, fights were grounded or diverted at Terminal 1 too and people were evacuated from both the terminals. The authorities also shut down an expressway approaching the JFK airportHowever, after the investigation, it was found that the report was unfounded. The airport was given all clear and normal operations have resumed in the two terminals.
