New York rail accident: Train was within speed limits, say investigators

US investigators, probing into the cause of the rail accident near New York City, have said that the train was not speeding.
The crash occurred after the female driver of an SUV stopped her vehicle on the Valhalla level crossing, some 20 miles from New York City. Ellen Brody, 49, and five train commuters were killed in the crash.
No problems were found with the barrier or signals at the crash site, investigators said.
Six people were killed and 15 were injured in the rail crash.
