Netanyahu slams Orange CEO for pulling out of telecom deal with Israeli firm
June 5 , 2015
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has slammed the chief executive of French telecom firm Orange for seeking to pull out of an agreement with its Israeli partner.
Orange boss Stephane Richard said that his company would pull out of its agreement with Partner Communications, and it wanted to be "one of the trustful partners of all Arab countries”.
Human rights groups have accused Partner of “building infrastructure on confiscated Palestinian land.”
Netanyahu urged France to “distance itself publicly” from Richard’s “miserable statement."
