Nawaz Sharif disqualified from holding public office

According to a unanimous verdict by Pakistan's Supreme Court, Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified from holding public office. According to media reports, the Prime Minister of Pakistan was named in the Panama Papers investigation. The Supreme Court has also directed that the case against Sharif be referred to the National Accountability Bureau. This is the third time that Nawaz Sharif would be unable to complete his five-year term in office.
