Malaysian PM cleared of corruption charges over Saudi gift

The Malaysian Anti-corruption Commission had earlier labeled the $681m transferred into PM’s account as political donation from a suspected benefactor. Najib had earlier sacked the country’s previous Attorney General and also faced rampant criticism from opposition leaders to resign over personal gains in a state position.
