Locals say Saudi Led Coalition's Airstrike Kills 20 Civilians
April 21 , 2018
Reports say 20 people are killed in southern Yemen after an air strike by a Saudi-led military coalition on Friday. Local residents have told media that air strike hit a passenger car carrying 20 people, killing all the passengers. While 6 bodies have been recognized, others were charred beyond recognition. Saudi-led coalition’s spokesperson assured of investigating the report and went on to say that they are taking the report seriously. During the three-year war since 2015 (when Saudi led coalition intervened in the Yemen’s civil war after Iran backed Houthis ousted President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and took control of the capital Sanaa), the Saudi coalition claimed that they don’t target civilians.
