Julian Assange's lawyers to appeal against ruling
July 17 , 2014
Julian Assange's lawyers have said that they would appeal when a judge in Stockholm rejected their challenge to his arrest warrant.
As a result of this ruling, the WikiLeaks founder will be forced to remain in the embassy of Ecuador in London. Police in Sweden want to question Assange over sexual molestation and rape allegations.
In a statement to the court, judge Lena Egelin said that the court believed there “is probable cause for the crimes of which he is accused.”
