Hurricane Irma had considerably weakened as it tore through Florida. However, it still caused flash floods, torrential downpours and tornadoes in the state. On Sunday morning, Irma wreaked havoc in Florida Keys as a category 4 hurricane. The next day it caused dangerous storm surge flooding in Jacksonville, but had weakened to a tropical storm. The hurricane caused devastation in the cities of Miami, Marco Island, Naples, and Tampa. The hurricane uprooted trees, knocked out power lines, and destroyed homes.
