Honshu hit by magnitude 5.8 earthquake

Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) has stated that Honshu, the main island of Japan, located to the northeast of Tokyo, has been hit with an earthquake with an initial magnitude of 5.8 Richter scale. The quake was measured to be at a depth of 33 km or 20 miles. The location was around 79 km or 49 miles towards the northeast of Iwaki, Honshu. PTWC has issued no immediate tsunami warning as of yet.
