Girl bitten 100 times during dog mauling

New Zealand doctors said a 7-year-old girl in Japan suffered about 100 bites during a dog mauling.
Plastic and reconstructive surgeon Zac Moaveni told the media that Sakurako Uehara would need to have surgeries done until she's grown up.
"Any one of those would make you wince," he said. "It's not just the bite with a dog, but it's the crush and the force that's behind it. It's a very different injury than to say a stab wound, or a cat bite." Officials at the hospital mentioned that the child remained in a stable but critical condition and the police stated that the girl was attacked while her family was visiting those who owned the dogs.
The animals have now been euthanized.
