Germany Goes To Poll Today
September 24 , 2017
Germany is all set to vote in national election today even when one-third of the Germans are reportedly undecided. While current chancellor Angela Merkel (of the conservative party - Christian Democratic Union of Germany) is looking forward to get elected for the 4th consecutive term as German Chancellor, her main rival Social Democratic Party of Germany’s (SPD) Martin Schulz urged more and more voters to cast their votes. Recent INSA poll suggests that Merkel's party is leading by 34 per cent votes, followed by SPD’s 21 per cent votes and far right, anti-immigrant AfD’s (Alternative for German) 13 per cent votes.
