France: Parties face first electoral test since Paris terror attacks
December 6 , 2015
Voters in France are casting their ballots in the first election since the Paris terror attacks that killed 130 people.
According to opinion polls, the far-right National Front (FN) will gain ground in the regional polls. Former President Nicolas Sarkozy’s center-right Les Republicains party is expected to emerge as the leading front in most regions.
The first round of voting on Sunday will be followed by a run-off a week later.
