France halts delivery of warship to Russia

France has indefinitely halted the delivery of a warship to Russia, media reports say. The controversial delivery has been placed under suspension “until further notice” as a fallout of the ongoing unrest in Ukraine.
The west blames Moscow for supporting pro-Russia separatists in eastern Ukraine.
France and Russia had signed a $1.6 billion deal in 2011 in which Russia had ordered two Mistral assault ships. The Vladivostok, the first of the two, was due to be handed over this month.
