Flooding reported after storm hits northern California

Over 200,000 people in northern California were left without power after a storm hit the area, bringing high winds and heavy rains with it and flooding neighborhoods.
Wind speeds of up to 140mph were reported in the mountainous areas and two key motorways had to be closed due to flooding. Public transport and flights were also hit, media reports said.
Several road accidents were reported, but there were no serious injuries.
