Five Killed as Plane Crashes Near Lisbon Supermarket

  • As per reports, a small plane crashed near a supermarket in Lisbon killing four people on board and a truck driver on the ground. Four other people were injured in the incident.

    When the plane crashed, the truck driver was reportedly offloading his cargo at the rear cargo bay in the supermarket, which was more than a mile away from the runway. His vehicle was set ablaze because of the crash.

    Sources said that the plane crashed soon after takeoff on Monday from Tires aerodrome. The Swiss-registered plane was a twin-engine Piper PA-31 Navajo aircraft.
