First Death Reported in West Virginia on Sunday of Covid-19

  • As confirmed by the state's Department of Health and Human Services, the first Coronavirus death has been reported in West Virginia on Sunday. The victim was an 88-year-old woman from Marion county. Government Jim Justice issued a statement on the woman's death asking all the West Virginians to pray for the woman's family, friends and loved ones. In his statement, he further urged the residents to continue to self-quarantine and limit their exposure to others. He also insisted on maintaining good hygiene to fight against the novel Coronavirus.
