Far-right rabbi shot in Jerusalem

  • Yehuda Glick, a far-right rabbi, has been shot and severely injured in Jerusalem on Wednesday, October 29, according to media reports.

    He was attacked outside a conference being attended by key Israeli activists. The police say they later killed a suspect, who resisted arrest.

    Glick, who is linked to a rightwing group that aims to rebuild a Jewish temple, was reportedly shot multiple times outside Begin Center. The gunman then escaped on a motorcycle.

    The incident has escalated tensions in the city.
