Family of British hostage Alan Henning claims to have received his plea for life

Mr Henning, a taxi driver from Eccles, Salford was taken hostage in December last while he was delivering aid. His wife Barbara Henning has released a new plea for her husband’s release, according to media reports. She claims to have received an audio recording of her husband on Tuesday, September 23, pleading for his life. The Islamic state did not pay heed to her ‘open negotiation’ request.
In an earlier report, Henning’s brother-in-law expressed his fear of the consequences pertaining to the first air strikes launched by the US and believes that Henning’s whereabouts would become a mystery again if the militants move him.
