Extremists kill 9 in Kenya

Extremists killed more than nine people in an attack on a coastal region in Kenya. Officials mentioned that about 50 people were killed in an attack only a day before this one.
Reports suggest that Somali militant group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack on Sunday night and said it was carried out because of the "brutal oppression of Muslims" in Kenya.
"Kenya is now officially a war zone and as such any tourists visiting the country do so at their own peril. Foreigners with any regard to their safety and security should stay away from Kenya," the group warned.
