EU leaders to host Turkish president in bid to secure €3bn migrant deal
November 13 , 2015
EU leaders including German chancellor Angela Merkel are working hard to clinch a €3 billion agreement with Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, aimed at controlling the mass influx of refugees and migrants into Europe.
Europe is facing its biggest migrant crisis since the second World War.
EU leaders from all 28 member states will host Erdoğan at a summit in Brussels to seal a deal which would result in Turkey patrolling the southern EU border with Greece and stopping the massive migrant influx.
