Ethiopia's communications minister, Negeri Lencho, has briefed media that a landslide at a waste dump outside Addis Ababa has killed over 46 people. Investigation is being carried out by the officials to know the reason of the landslide at Koshe landfill. Lencho also told media that the Ethiopian government is already in the process of building a factory for converting waste products to electricity and at the same time resettling people living in the waste dump area. A Canadian NGO, Hope for Korah, shared in its Facebook page that people are looking for survivors trapped in the landslide.
