August 10 , 2014
Guinea’s borders with Liberia and Sierra Leone have been closed to check the spread of the Ebola outbreak that has already claimed nearly 1000 lives in the three West African nations since February.
More than 360 people have died of the epidemic in Guinea, and the decision has been taken to stop infected people from entering the country, officials said.
The World Health Organization has described the Ebola outbreak as a global health emergency.
