Ebola Outbreak: blockades set up by Liberia, Sierra Leone
August 8 , 2014
Liberia has put up a blockade to prevent people from western areas hit by the Ebola virus outbreak from coming to capital Monrovia.
The decision comes after the president declared a state of emergency to deal with the outbreak that has already killed over 930 people in West Africa since February.
In Sierra Leone, a total blockade of the Ebola affected eastern areas has been set up by the military.
