Double blow for Cameron ahead of Tory meet
September 28 , 2014
In a double blow for David Cameron before the Conservative party meeting in Birmingham, a Tory MP defected to the far right Ukip and a minister resigned after being caught sending sexually explicit images.
Announcing his decision to join Ukip, Rochester and Strood MP Mark Reckless, a Eurosceptic and an anti-immigration advocate, said Cameron and the Tory leadership were “part of the problem” that is confronting Britain.
Meanwhile, a tabloid newspaper has reportedly trapped Brooks Newmark sending his own sexually explicit photos to women online, prompting the minister for civil society to resign.
