Denmark shootings: Thousands across country mourn victims

  • Thousands of people gathered across Denmark on Monday to mourn the victims of the shooting attacks in capital, Copenhagen.

    The weekend attacks on a café where a free speech debate was taking place and a Jewish synagogue led to the death of two people. Five police officers were also wounded.

    The gunman, who has been named in the local media as 22-year-old Omar El-Hussein, was later shot and killed by the Danish police.

    Two men were charged on Monday with aiding the gunman.
