Death Toll in Bahamas is Expected to Rise

  • Hurricane Dorian is nowhere close to an end. It has been reported that the death toll from the devastation in the Bahamas will be "staggering". So far, 23 deaths have been reported and the number is expected to rise rapidly. Dorian ravaged Bahamas for three days and is now striking North and South Carolina in the United States. Hurricane Dorian struck Bahamas as a category 5 hurricane with the wind speed of 185 mph. Though its intensity has reduced since then, its wind field has grown wider, and the path has become more unpredictable.
