Close contest on cards as Greeks vote in general election
September 20 , 2015
Voting has started in the Greek general elections, the debt-hit country’s fifth election in six years.
Opinion polls have indicated a close contest between the left-wing Syriza party and the centre-right New Democracy.
Syriza leader Alexis Tsipras's decision as prime minister to go ahead with a new bailout deal has made a huge dent in his popularity.
Austerity measures, which a majority of Greeks are opposed to, are part of the bailout agreement.
