Clinton book faces ban
June 28 , 2014
People in China won't be able to read Hillary Clinton's 'Hard Choices.' Reports suggest that the book has been criticized as being the "epicenter of the antidemocratic movement in Asia" and has been effectively banned, the president of Simon & Schuster said.
He mentioned that "it really is about a Chinese business fearing the wrath of the Chinese government" and shows "low level of intellectual freedom in China right now."
Jonathan Karp also notes that the book has done well in almost every other major international market.
