CIA's interrogation methods were 'brutal', says Senate report
December 10 , 2014
A damning US Senate report has said that the CIA’s interrogations of suspected terrorists was “brutal” in the years following the 9/11 attacks.
The report has been painstakingly compiled by the Senate Intelligence Committee Democrats. It says the CIA misled the American public, the justice department and even the White House about the actual nature of the interrogations.
Also, the information obtained by these methods did not help in foiling any terror attacks, according to the report.
