China's Economic Condition to Get Worse in Months

  • Since the global financial crisis in 2009, China for the first time has registered its slowest growth rate quarterly. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, for the last year only, the growth rate from July to September was recorded to be 6.5%. China has been facing challenges on the economic front mainly due to the ongoing trade war with the US and high debt levels. The tension with the US is also expected to affect the Asian economy's growth in the coming months. Policymakers have come forward to support the falling economy though.
