California homeless man helps police recapture fugitives, to be rewarded $100,000

A homeless man from the city of San Francisco in California, who helped the police to recapture two inmates who had fled from a prison, will be rewarded $100,000. The homeless man, who has been identified as Matthew Hay-Chapman, had seen the photographs of the two prisoners on news and had also seen them in a van, which they had stolen. The fugitives had escaped from Orange County Jail some six days ago.
