Cabbies clog Europe streets while protesting

  • Reports suggest that Taxi drivers in several cities including London and Berlin, clogged the streets in order to protest competition from ride-sharing service in the US called Uber.

"This about an all-out assault on our profession, our livelihoods," a driver in london told Reuters. "These big companies are coming in, not playing by the rules."

However, an Uber executive mentioned that these protests are just going to make the company more visible and people will realize that they have a lot more choices.
