Briton in Syria Kills Himself to Avoid IS Capture

  • As per reports, Briton Ryan Lock, who was fighting in Syria killed himself after he realized he could be taken prisoner by so-called Islamic State. Lock, who was from Chichester in West Sussex was fighting as a volunteer with the Kurdish armed fighting forces.

    Reports say, a gunshot wound was found under his chin, which is why Lock's death is considered to be a suicide.

    According to sources, five British fighters were seized by the ISIS and before they were killed, they showed much resistance. After retrieving the bodies, the examination reports said that the British soldiers killed themselves.
