British PM Doesn't Change Demands in Talks with EU after Her Brexit Plan's Overwhelming Defeat
January 19 , 2019
British Prime Minister Theresa May has reportedly not made any changes in the discussions with the EU leaders. May’s actions are surprising as it comes after the overwhelming defeat of the Brexit Plan at Parliament of the United Kingdom. These included legally binding time-limit for the Irish ‘backstop’, Britain’s right for unilateral withdrawal, and a trade deal finalization commitment prior to 2021.
