British Parliament Reports "Sustained and Determined" Cyber Attack on Lawmakers

  • Britain’s parliamentary authorities have confirmed that hackers have carried out a “sustained and determined” cyber attack on “all parliamentary user accounts” for identifying weak passwords. It has been reported by the House of Commons that it is currently working with the National Cyber Security Centre for defending network of the parliament. It is also confident that all accounts and systems in the network have been protected. A spokesperson for the House of Commons has confirmed reports that unauthorised attempts were made for accessing parliamentary accounts but the implemented system is successful in protecting details of members and staffs.
