Bernie Sanders Leads Nevada Democratic Presidential Caucus, Harvard Professor Cornel West & New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio Endorse Him

  • In a new Las Vegas Review-Journal poll in Nevada Democratic Presidential Caucus, the Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is leading over his nearest contender former Vice President Joe Biden by 7 percentage points. As per the latest poll, Sanders received 25% support, followed by Biden with 18% support, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren with 13% support, Hedge fund founder Tom Steyer with 11% support, former mayor of South Bend (Indiana) with 10% support, and Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar with 10% support. Activist and Harvard professor Cornel West has joined Bernie Sanders’ campaign and praised him by calling him “deep Jewish brother who is bringing us together”. He also went on to say that Bernie Sanders will dethrone the US President Donald Trump in the 2020 Presidential election and went on to call Trump a “neo-fascist gangster in the White House”. In a significant move, an unabashed liberal and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has endorsed Bernie Sanders for president. In a news release Bill de Blasio said that New Yorkers know how the US President Donald Trump has damaged the society through “xenophobia, bigotry and recklessness”. He went on to endorse Sanders by saying “Bernie is the candidate to take him on and take him down” as Bernie Sanders “stands with working families, and always has”.
