Bangladesh: Six Killed after Police Raid a Militant Hideout

  • As per reports, a militant hideout was raided by police in Bangladesh on Thursday, which killed five suspected militants. A fire fighter also lost his life. The hideout was about 200 miles (120 km) west of Dhaka.

    Two grenades were thrown by the militants, wounded two officers.

    The militants were suspected to be members of a faction of the Islamic-State-linked Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh group.
