At least 55 killed as Russia bombs ISIS-held Raqqa

  • At least 55 people were killed and another 60 injured as a result of Russian airstrikes in the ISIS held city of Raqqa in the past 24 hours. Majority of those killed were civilians including pregnant women and children leading to human rights violations. The five year old Syrian civil war has killed over 250000 and displaced over half of the country’s population.
